The bike shop I go to has one in stock that they can throw in at cost which is sadly $100, so if you could wire me the money that'd be great. It'd most likely be cheaper for you that way too, seeing as you wouldn't have to pay shipping. It just sucks that its the intrinsic damping system and not the SPV, otherwise it would have made it much easier and cheaper to take care of.

The steer tube was actually like 7 and a quarter inches and was barely too short. Basically the damping system was blown. While I was waiting for the replacement crown it was just sitting on my workbench, and a puddle of oil gathered on the carpeting. When I unscrewed the damping knob to check it, the whole thing fell out. Basically I was just looking for the $100 to get the damping system replaced. The steer tube could have well been an accident.
